Since the old days of blues and southern rock there have always been musicians that were not happy with the traditional groove. Bands like Black Sabbath, KISS, Judas Priest started a revolution by not playing by the rules. Bands like Metallica, Overkill, Anthrax, Ozzy and Testament pushed in a heavier movement of harder distorted guitars loaded with heavy riffs and a angry generation of people welcomed them with open arms. Since then so many bands have taken what the metal gods of yesterday laid down and put there own spin on it not trying to copy the gods but just for a minute hold there own place and heads high. I come across H.C.D musician Ceppi on Facebook and we had a great chat. I had heard of many bands from his home country of Indonesia but never anything that was so similar to the guitar fueled madness that I had grown to love at such a early age. Something about this three piece band locked and loaded with signature long hair and brimming with attitude really sparked my interest. I had to talk more with Ceppi on everything about life, music, gear and yes H.C.D!
Keep in mind Ceppi's English is not perfect but I think he gets his point across perfectly!!
RBJ

RBJ
What advice would you give to other bands that are just getting a guitar or bass that are trying to fill there passion with music?
Ceppi
Keep the spirit and keep Roooockinnnn \m/
Ceppi's English is not always the best but in a musician language is not what is important it is the fight and drive of the artist. H.C.D is a newer band and they already play like they have been together for ten years with a burning fire to leave there footprint on the backsides of anyone that is willing to give them a chance. I love how three people can have such a fullness that bands almost twice that size with using a massive high dollar studio cannot seem to pull off. There is such a natural balance and brutality that is melodic and simply beautiful with in this young band. I hope everyone gives them a chance to H.C.D there world!!!!!
Dika - Drums
